Vernis Tan

I was born on 22 November 1987, in KL Pantai Hospital. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, no guesses as to who they are…

I love singing and dancing, even since I was a tiny 4 or 5 year old. I love word games, card games, quick 1-2 minute computer games like bejeweled and i also love solving jigsaw puzzles – 1000-piece minimum, please.

I enjoy baking but I have been learning to cook full meals as of late. I also thoroughly enjoy craft-making and other things that stimulate the creative side of my brain that doesn’t get enough exercise due to my profession!

I have served or am serving in the childrens, youth, hospitality and worship ministries in the church (in KL and in Melb). I have always been a member of an FGA church: FGA KL, FGA USJ and now FGAM.

I went to Box Hill High for VCE when I came o Melbourne in 2004. I then completed my Bachelor of Accountancy degree in RMIT university in 2009 and am now working as an accountant in a mid-sized accounting practice in Blackburn.

My goal is to learn and strive to be everyday, a better person, a better daughter, a better sister, a better girlfriend, a better leader, a better friend and a better steward of all that God’s blessed me with.
