info. overload

So I spent 6hrs in a library studying for an exam next week.
I think I feel the stress + being in overdrive slash overload mode.
Cant wait for all of this to be over in 2 weeks. I shall be a free man!

Good luck to all you year 12 English students sitting your FIRST 3 hr exam next thursday.
We can grab a kebab together after all of this is over :P
Holla at me!

back to more performance measurement and controls..

L.I.F.E

What is life to you? Perhaps your life should be glorifying God’s name. And you ask me how?
Here are some examples!

Labour, work in labour for God’s Kingdom

Influence, those around you in love and spirit

Finance, the works of the church by giving back what God has blessed you with

Expertise, use your expertise to bring glory to God’s name

  • do you have a hatred against sin?
  • do you desire out of gratitude to walk in the way that pleases God?
  • is God progressively working in areas of your life?
  • are you experiencing victories over sin in your life?

Simple life?

love is the same no matter where you are

i wish all the cars broke down

cos then we could just sit around

and we could get to know each other a little more than we do

cos nothing else would matter

we can do whatever.

teehee :)

I sometimes question the trade off between a simple life and an extravagant life.

10 REASONS TO TRUST GOD
1. He is God not man

Numbers 23:19 (KJV) says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent…” Man does not always have full control of his circumstances to keep his words all the time but God does

2. He is a Promise keeping God

Psalm 89:34 (KJV) says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” God respects covenants and His words (scriptures) are His covenants with man. God’s own part of the covenant is always constant and fulfilled. It is man’s own part that is always changing. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

3. What He says He means

Numbers 23:19b (KJV) says, “…hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?.” Also Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” God does not play with His promises. If He said it then consider it done. God is faithful.

4. Nothing is difficult or hard for Him

Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV) says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” No matter what your case or situation may be God can and will handle it if you trust and allow Him to take over the case.

5. He will never forget His child

Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) says, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Though God has the whole world to attend to, unlike man, He will never fail to remember you and your desire as an individual. Everyone is important to Him and that includes you.

6. He will never forsake His child

Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Men may forsake or abandon you, especially when things are not going fine with you, but not God. When you trust the faithfulness of God, you will see Him manifest on your behalf.

7. He has a record of keeping His words

1 Kings 8:56 (KJV) says, “Blessed be the LORD that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.” God’s yes is yes. He is trustworthy, dependable and reliable. God is faithful.

8. He is the Alpha and Omega

Revelations 22:13 (KJV) says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” You can trust the faithfulness of God because He knows the end from the beginning. God’s word for that situation is the best because He already knows the end of that situation if you obey His word and when you don’t.

9. Faithfulness is God’s nature

Galatians 5:22 (AMP) says, “But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,” The faithfulness of God is sure and certain. God can’t help being faithful because it is His nature.

10. He cannot deny Himself

2 Timothy 2:13 (AMP) says, “If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.” For His name sake, He will show Himself faithful. God will not because of the actions of men deny Himself as a faithful God.

In conclusion, God is faithful now and forever more to fulfil His word in your life. There is nothing impossible with God. With men it may be impossible but with God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26. Therefore, trust in the faithfulness of God and you will see His glory upon your life.

Over the last couple of months, I truly have learnt to trust God to provide.
We all have….
dreams
aspirations
ambitions
goals
wishes
desires
hopes
intentions
targets

The question is… which one of them are GOD’s for you.

Its May Already?!

I can’t believe time has FLOWN past me so quickly!
Recently I volunteered to help with the Good Friday Appeal and was appointed as an intersection supervisor for High Street slash Manningham Road.
It was a such a great experience for myself.
Never did I think about those people collecting coins for donations at intersections whenever I drive past.
It takes determination to stand there for SIX whole hours and smile at every car that drives past you, as you attempt to empty every cent in their ashtrays.

I had a couple of helpers with me on the day and we managed to raise a total of $3850.50 at our intersection alone! I am happy there is still a LARGE handfull of people out there who care.

I really encourage you guys to maybe volunteer for next year’s appeal. I’ll probably sign myself up again as a supervisor, and maybe a couple of you could be the ones throwing incredible smiles and jingling those coin cans!

Coming up next, I have 3 assignments due before the semester ends, 1 mid semester text next week, and a job interview for my summer vacationer work!
I’ve just been on a shopping spree on Asos and ordered a suit for this interview! Fingers crossed I’ll get it. Or else I’ll just go to Thailand for a holiday! HAHA.

Im Freezingg!

So anyway, it has been one of the coldest March we’ve ever experienced in Melbourne.

I find myself unable to get out of bed almost EVERY morning.

Currently Uni is taking up MOST of my time, if not ALL of my time.

I’ve been sending out job applications for the Summer Vacation. While you guys are on holidays, I’ll be working full-time:|

I got offered a place in Malaysia! PARTY in Malaysia?!

Party with food such as nasi lemak, curry laksa, rojak, ice milo. Ahhhh..

Maybe..maybe I shall go to Malaysia.

I’ve Moved!

So in the last week my family have decided our house in Doncaster was just too tiny to live in.

I have been living in my lounge room for the past year and a half.

We have relocated to Donvale.

It feels weird to be sleeping in a room again!
