Observation:

The Lord is in total control. He commands such awesome power, that the whole earth trembles at his presence.


Application

God is in control of my life. Even when we cannot understand, or when it looks like nothing is going to plan, the Lord is in charge. I need to invite him to work in my life. I need to continually push into God, and pray that he will provide the right opportunities and the right timing for things to happen in my life. He knows the best timing, and the best opportunities, and I need to trust in him and trust that he has complete control, even though I cannot see it.


Prayer

Lord, I thank you that you have begun something amazing in my life, and even though I cannot see it, I pray that I may trust you with everything that is going on. As you reveal to me aspects in my own life with where you want me to be heading, I pray that you will continue to be in control and take charge of the situation at hand. Lord, I pray that just as you were working in the planning stages of my life, you would continue to work in me, and that through me, you would see out the destiny you have arranged for me.

Observation:

Application

God says clearly that the why to grow is to we seek him and meditate on his word. The Lord is the giver of life, and if we are the plant, he is like the stream to us. Without God and without seeking him, we will just dry up, and fall.


Prayer

Lord, help me to grow and to become stronger in my walk with you. Jesus, without you, I am weak, I am weary, and I will fall at any obstacal. With you by my side, I am strong and can overcome.
